More on Fuji Rock

The line up at the Fuji Rock Festival was pretty amazing...We saw Cold Play, Fatboy Slim, Foo Fighters, Simple Plan, Aqualung, Mars Volta, Kaiser Chiefs, Asian Dub Foundation, Beck, Ryuku Disko, Beach Boys, Steel Pulse, Los Lobos, Moby, Cake, and many more that I can't remember off the top of my head. They also had a lot of Japanese bands, some of which we liked a lot but the names were in Japanese characters so we couldn't remember them.

In addition to the music, there were a lot of art installations and cool areas to hang out in. I liked all of the cool stuff they did with the lighting at night...The disco ball in the forest looked amazing and in some parts they had huge fields of candles. They also had spotlights pointed at the trees and you could wave multi colored cellophane sheets in front of them. It was nice for when you needed to just chill out...The festival was very draining, especially since everything was muddy and there were very few places to sit down. Our feet were water logged the entire time. Every step was mushy gushy squishy in my shoes. Yuck!
